Roshni Pecora – Owner and Director – Roshni Pecora, born and raised in Chelmsford, MA, began her dance training and career at a young age studying under such notables as Assaf Messer, Andrew Pap, Jill Silverman, Phyllis George, Adrienne Hawkins and Marianne Harkless. As a dance student she was recognized often for her potential and was awarded numerous awards and scholarships. Upon completion of high school Roshni chose to major in Dance at Dean College in Franklin, MA. While at Dean Roshni received great recognition for her technical skills and work ethic, winning several dance scholarships and awards. In 1994 she graduated with High Honors as a member of Phi Theta Kappa. She has performed leading roles such as The Sugar Plum Fairy in “The Nutcracker”, Aurora in “The Sleeping Beauty”, Cinderella in “Cinderella” and Lucille Grahn in “The Grand Pas de Quatre”. Prior to the 2014 opening of Northeast Dance Center Roshni at the New England Civic Ballet Company and School (NECB) for 18 years where she served as the School’s Director, Pointe, Ballet, and Jazz, Tap and Modern Instructor and as assistant Director of NECB’s sister Company. Roshni and her students have been consistently recognized for having clean, precise and extensive technique in all dance disciplines but most notably in Ballet. Her students have been accepted at prestigious summer dance programs such American Ballet Theatre, Kaatsbaan Extreme Ballet, Magnus Midwest, The Kirov Academy, Hubbard Street and Alvin Ailey. After high school many of her students continue to pursue dance she has been instrumental
in the application process with her students at colleges like Indiana University, University of Cincinnati, Dean College, The Hartt School and many more. Alumni students have been offered positions in various company
 programs such as The Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, The
 Atlanta Ballet and North Carolina Dance Theatre as well. Ms. Pecora serves as a master teacher and guest choreographer throughout the country. It is her passion and goal to pass on the traditions of the dance world while mentoring our youth. 

Stephanie Bergeron  began her dance training locally at the young age of 3 and began competing at the age of 5. While competing, Stephanie participated in regional and national competitions such as Dance Ovations, New England Dance Festival, American  Dance Awards, Eastern Dance Awards, and Showstoppers. During which she won countless medals from bronze to ultimate gold, high overall titles, and special awards including: “nicest feet”, “fluidity”, “precision award”, and  “moving musicality.”  During her dance career, Stephanie has studied with such notable teachers as Andre Bossov, Natalia Nikolaevn Getman, Irina Lebedeva, Anna and Vladimir Karpov and Roseann Ridings. In 2003, Stephanie joined the New England Civic Ballet studying under Roshni Pecora and Phyllis George. She has since held various roles in NECB’s productions such as Snow Queen, Chocolate, Coffee in the Nutcracker and The Blue Fairy of the Grand Pas De Quatre in The Sleeping Beauty. In addition to holding leading roles in NECB productions Stephanie has also been accepted/attended to Bossov Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive where she performed in productions of Don Quixote, Swan Lake and The Sleeping Beauty. Stephanie continued her dance career and education while obtaining a bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a minor in psychology.  She is also a Massachusetts state certified emergency medical technician in Lowell, MA.

Lauren Jbara  – As a former student of Roshni Pecora, Lauren is thrilled to be a part of the Northeast Dance Center team! Upon receiving her BFA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Lauren danced her way to over 50 different countries on Regent Seven Seas Cruises where she served as dance captain, and has also performed at multiple professional regional theaters across the country. Favorite theater credits include JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT, HAIRSPRAY, LEGALLY BLONDE, SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (Fireside Theatre, WI) A FUNNY THING…FORUM (Theater by the Sea, RI) and many more! Lauren has also been a featured dancer in commercials for the University of Massachusetts and The Connecticut Lottery, as well as a dancer/choreographer on an episode of MTV’s Say it in Song. While living in New York City, Lauren has continued her training at Broadway Dance Center, STEPS on Broadway, the Ailey School and is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association (Actors Union).  Over the years she has been a guest teacher at many dance schools in New England in both private and public settings.  She believes in the physical, spiritual and emotional wellness of dance and its ability to change lives. Dance is a beautiful, positive force that can lead to life long careers and opportunities. Lauren is excited to share her experience and passion for dance with her students at Northeast Dance Center. 

Cassandra Boucher  –  Cassie began her dance training under the direction of Phyllis George and Roshni Pecora at the New England Civic Ballet.  While dancing with New England Civic Ballet Cassandra held both leading and supporting roles in numerous productions including Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and The Enchanted Glen.  In addition to NECB Cassandra’s training includes studying with Boston Dance Company, Ballet theatre of Boston, the dance complex.  She has the experience of studying with Allegra Kent of The New York City Ballet, and modern dancer Caitlin Corbett. While obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Cassie performed and choreographed dances with Salem State College’s Repertory Dance Theatre.  In 2014 Cassandra began coaching student in NDC’s holiday production of the Nutcracker.
